The $5 Battery That Never Dies - Edison Buried This 100 Years Ago

Canavero says head-body transplants are the next step for transplants. People have now been living for years with donated hearts, lungs, livers, kidneys, and other internal organs.
A father donated his kidney to his daughter over 50 years ago and both are still alive today.
Canavero and the team claim that they will:
1. Make a very sharp cut that minimizes damage of the spinal cord
2. Use chemicals that accelerate the process of re-fusing severed neurons and nerves
They admits that when they reattach the spinal cord, as little as 10 to 15 percent of the nerves are actually restored.
The estimated cost of the first head transplant is $100 million.
