Tensions across West Asia intensified as the war between Israel and Iran entered its 11th day, with fresh missile interceptions and expanding strikes reported across the region.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday said that Israel's military campaign against Iran is "not done yet", adding that the operation was degrading Iran's clerical leadership.
Amid the escalation, Donald Trump said he expects the war with Iran to end "very soon," praising US-Israel operations as among the most complex military strikes ever carried out.
Israeli army said on Tuesday that it would soon strike Hezbollah infrastructure in the southern Lebanese cities of Tyre and Sidon, warning residents to move away from targeted buildings.
Politically, Tehran announced that Mojtaba Khamenei will succeed his slain father Ali Khamenei as Iran's supreme leader, while officials signalled a ceasefire was unlikely as long as attacks continued.
