Every time Americans think they've finally seen the total run of scams, another ugly little program slithers out of the woodwork.
This time it's a $300 million USDA program that was supposedly about "helping farmers" get land, capital, and access to the markets. Sounds like a sweet deal, right? Until you look closer and realize this was yet another taxpayer-funded setup built around DEI, helping foreigners become US farmers while actual American citizens are getting squeezed like a tube of toothpaste.
The constant betrayal is overwhelming. Americans work, pay taxes, follow the rules, and keep getting told there's no money, no help, no relief, no fairness. But somehow there's always money for all these rigged programs that help foreigners and shut out white men.
That's the bad news. The good news is Team Trump just shut this scam down.
Handing out American money to foreigners and DEI darlings is not America First.
But first, readers need to get a feel for how big this program actually was and how it spread across the country.
The Increasing Land, Capital, and Market Access Program, funded by the American Rescue Plan Act, awarded roughly $300 million to about 50 projects across the country for five-year contracts beginning in 2023.
As you can see, this was a major Biden-regime federal operation… another large-scale DEI machine just humming along on your hard-earned taxpayer dollars before any of us even knew it existed.
In truth, this money was designed to help everybody but white Americans.
Politico:
The projects were especially targeted to address land access issues facing Black farmers, immigrant farmers, Indigenous farmers, veterans and other underrepresented groups.
The money was being routed through the regime DEI formula that sorts people by skin color, grievance status, gender, and political clout. And of course, tucked into that list were foreigners. So yes, American taxpayers were once again bankrolling a program that put non-citizens above Americans.
And Trump team wasn't shy about why this unfair, America Last program had to go.
Politico:
According to one of the cancellation letters shared with POLITICO, USDA determined that the program "involved discriminatory preferences based on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion" as well as "wasteful spending."
More DEI poison that has permeated our entire federal government.
Team Trump also explained how these programs will look going forward.
Politico:
USDA spokesperson Alec Varsamis said in a statement the program was an example of "an egregious misuse of taxpayer dollars" and did not have a minimum requirement for "direct producer support."
"Under this Administration, USDA programs will uphold market principles, engage in fiscal discipline, and provide adequate funding to the farmers it exists to support," he added.
If a farming program isn't directly helping all American farmers fairly, it shouldn't exist.
So yes, this cancellation is worth celebrating. But it's also another unfortunate reminder of how much rot is still buried, just waiting to be uncovered.
