The screen onstage at the campaign headquarters of New York City's new Democratic Socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani was hacked on Tuesday night, reading, "Trump Is Your President," in the style of the New York Knicks basketball team logo.
The leftist crowd booed loudly when the screen was hacked, and it's still unknown who was behind the stunt.
Just hours before the incident, the official White House ???? account posted the same image.
Mamdani responded with a direct message to President Trump, saying in his victory speech, "So, Donald Trump, since I know you're watching, I have four words for you: Turn the volume up."
He went on to say his administration will "hold bad landlords accountable because the Donald Trumps of [NYC] have grown far too comfortable taking advantage of their tenants," and "put an end to the culture of corruption that has allowed billionaires like Trump to evade taxation and exploit tax breaks."
The socialist politician continued, saying he'll stand by unions and expand labor protections so bosses like Trump can no longer exploit them and that the Big Apple will continue to be "a city of immigrants, built by immigrants, powered by immigrants and as of tonight led by an immigrant."
"So hear me, President Trump, when I say this: to get to any of us, you will have to get through all of us," he threatened.
