White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt addressed President Trump's swollen legs and hand bruises on Thursday with an update from the President's physician.
"the President remains in excellent health, which I think all of you witness on a daily basis here," she told reporters.
In recent days, it was noticed that the President had bruising and other markings on the back of his hand and swollen ankles. This led to mass speculation, especially from the left, that President Trump was suffering from edema and a life-threatening heart condition.
Leavitt immediately addressed the speculation, notifying the press that the President "was thoroughly evaluated by the White House medical unit," and they found nothing out of the ordinary.
"An echocardiogram was also performed and confirm normal cardiac structure and function. No signs of heart failure, renal impairment or systemic illness were identified," she said of the President's swollen legs. She said the President has " chronic venous insufficiency, a common condition, particularly in individuals over the age of 70."
The hand bruises were explained as "a well-known and benign side effect of aspirin therapy," which the President does "as part of a standard cardiovascular prevention regimen."
This is nothing like Joe Biden's serious medical condition, despite what the mainstream media tries to make of it.
