Donut Lab Says It Cracked Solid-State Batteries. Experts Have Questions.

As we mentioned in our last article, Tesla CTO JB Straubel gave a presentation last month at the National Entrepreneur Week in Mexico. Straubel, who has been described as 'the world's foremost battery expert', made some very interesting comments about where Tesla is going in battery technology and as a new sustainable energy company with the acquisition of SolarCity and the push in energy storage.
With the combination of electric vehicles, home energy storage and solar, Straubel described Tesla as becoming a "one-stop sustainable lifestyle company".
Straubel also explained the end of life of batteries and how Tesla plans to recycle them in order to reuse raw materials.
Overall, Straubel tried to encourage Mexican entrepreneurs to look into how they could contribute to helping transition the world to sustainable energy.
