In spite of advances in healthcare technology, Big Pharma's influence on regulatory processes is a major hinderance, favoring extremely profitable drug treatment models over more effective alternative approaches to cancer. 

It has been known that throughout history a number of brilliant innovative pioneers with their cheap, natural, non-toxic cancer cures have found themselves having major blood-shedding wrangles with the big boys heading the medical establishment. 

Regardless of efficacy, these innovative pioneers with their cheap alternative cancer cures were perceived by the medical establishment as a massive financial threat, as they could undercut their business. So they had to be stopped at all costs. 

The medical establishment's usual line of attack has been legal action, harassment, ridicule, silencing, invalidation (even when knowing their innovations do cure cancer), ignorance and arrogance… -How evil are these government and big business people?

Royal Raymond Rife (1888-1971) -the Universal High-Magnification Time-Lapse Microscope (aka "The Rife Machine") for cancer cures.

After successfully curing a number of cancer patients using his 'Rife Technology,' the Rockefeller owned American Medical Association (AMA) successfully laid this technology to rest permanently, by closing down his laboratory set ups and seizing his equipment. Essentially, Rife refused to hand over the rights of his work to the AMA because he saw powerful 'money interests' as hidden ulterior motives for obtaining his technology.
